The Flames Have a New Home
July, 24th 2010
The Flames, formerly of Twin County, have moved to TRIC (Toms River Independent Club). We made this move because we feel that the mission of TRIC more closely matches our coaching philosophy. We are looking forward to putting on our jade, black and white and taking the field under the TRIC banner this Fall. Thank you to all of the great people that we met in our time at Twin County. The support that you have given us is truly appreciated. Good Luck.
The Flames End The Season in First Place

The Flames finished the Spring season in first place. This was an amazing season for the Flames. They ended with the most wins, least losses, least goals against and came in second in goals for. They had 8 wins, 6 of which were shutouts, 1 loss and 1 tie.

Congratulations Flames. You all did an outstanding job this season. I can't wait to get the Fall started up.
The Flames Shut-out the Crushes
June, 13th 2010
The Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ shut-out the Crushers for the second time this season and walked away with their 5th shut-out. There were a lot of shots on both goals but in the end Brigid was the only one on either team to get one into the goal. This win means that the worst the Flames can do this season is second place with a good chance of taking first.
The Flames Beat the Jaguars
June, 6th 2010
The Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ played the Jaguars for the 2nd time this season to settle the 2-2 tie back in April. Maria scored a goal in the first half to give the Flames the lead but the Jaguars tied the score soon after. The score remained tied until late in the second half when Rachel got her second goal this season putting the Flames in the lead. The Flames held off the Jaguars for the rest of the game and walked away with a 2-1 win.
The Twin County Flames Get Their Groove Back
May, 16th 2010
The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ came back from last weeks loss to beat the Jersey Shore Express 3-0 giving the Flames their 4th shut-out of the season. The Flames took the lead early on with Rachel and Stephanie scoring their first goals of the season and Maria getting the third goal of the game. The Flames defense once again showed their skill by not letting the soccer ball near their goal for most of the game. Way to go Flames and thank you Coach Kate.
The Twin County Flames Lose Their First Game Of The Season
May, 9th 2010
The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ lost their first game of the season to the High Tides bringing an end to The Flames 3 game winning streak with a final score of 3-1. The High Tides scored 2 goals in the first half. The Twin County Flames scored once in the second half but soon after The High Tides got their third goal of the game and The Flames weren't able to catch up before the final whistle. Both teams played well and gave everyone a fun and exciting game to watch.

This loss knocks The Twin County Flames out of the first place spot by 2 points. With 5 games still to go this season there is still plenty of time to try to overtake the High Tides and reclaim the top spot.
The Flames Are Burnin' Up The Soccer Field
April, 29th 2010
The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ just scored their third shutout in a row with a 3-0 win against the Twin County Wild. The Wild offense broke through The Flames defense a few times but in the end weren't able to get one into the goal.
The Twin County Flames Take On The Red Bank Revolution
April, 28th 2010
The Twin County Flames Girls Soccer Team of Brick, NJ took on The Revolution and walked away with a 6-0 win. Brigid, Maria and Morgan broke through The Revolution defense to score two goals each. The Flames defense, led by Courtney and Rose, made this a very boring game for Jordan, The Flames goal keeper, who had to watch the action from a distance as they rarely let the soccer ball near her. Jordan fought off the few attacks on goal that did get through giving her her first shutout of the season and the second consecutive shutout for The Flames. Way to go Flames!!!
The Flames Beat The Crushers
April, 18th 2010
The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ took on The Colts Neck Crushers. The Flames are the first team this season to break through The Crushers defense to score a goal. The Flames only scored one goal but that was all they needed. The Flames defense held off The Crushers for the entire game giving The Flames a 1-0 win and Lyndsey her first shut-out at her first time playing goalkeeper.
The Twin County Flames Start The Seaon With A Tie

The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ kicked off the spring season with an exciting game against the Jaguars. The Flames dominated the first half with 2 goals while shutting down their opponents offense. The Jaguars came back in the second half to tie the game 2-2.
The Flames are Getting Bigger

We would like to welcome 3 new players to our team this season. We've got Melissa, a newcomer to the game but progressing very quickly. Rachel and Rose are joining us from the Wild and the Sparks where they both proved their worth on the soccer field game after game.
The Flames Take On The Sparks For The Pyro Cup
November, 23rd 2009
The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ played their rivals, The Sparks for the Pyro Cup in what turned out to be the most exciting soccer match of the season. The game ended with a 2-2 tie and forced an extra period to determine the winner. The score remained tied at the end of the extra period and the game went to a penalty shootout where the Sparks bested The Flames 2 goals to 1 to win the 2009 Pyro Cup. All of the girls played exceptionally well in a game that will be remembered for a long time.
The Twin County Flames End The Season With A Tie
November, 16th 2009
The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ ended the season with a tough game against the Jersey Shore Express which ended in a 2-2 tie. Both teams ended the Fall Soccer season tied in points and goals against but The Flames beat their opponents by one goal overall this season. Giving them the 4th place spot over the Jersey Shore Express. This was a great season for the first year Flames, beating everyone's expectations and coming out ahead of some tough teams.
The Twin County Flames Shut Out The Crushers
October, 21st 2009
The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ played the Colts Neck Crushers for the second time this season to settle the only tie in the league when they ended their first game together with one goal each back in September. The Girls did an outstanding job in offense to score 3 goals against the Crushers, who have one of the toughest defenses in the league. The only thing that equaled The Flames offense was their defense who played their best game to date and prevented The Crushers from scoring. The defense, with Jordan and Elizabeth in goal, was able to secure the first shutout this season for The Flames to end the game 3-0.
The Flames End The Jersey Shore Express Winning Streak
October, 11th 2009
The Jersey Shore Express took the lead less than a minute into what would be a very exciting soccer match with a goal against The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ. It looked like it was going to be a rough game but that would be their only goal of the day. The Flames tied the game shortly after with a goal from a penalty kick. The score remained tied 1-1 until the end of the second half, when, from past the eighteen, Maria sent the soccer ball sailing over the Jersey Shore Express defense and over the goalkeeper to score a second goal for The Flames with just a few minutes left in the game. The Flames defense prevented another goal and won the game 2-1 ending the 2 game winning streak by The Jersey Shore Express.
The Flames Lose to the High Tides
October, 5th 2009
The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ played hard against the High Tides but a goal in the second half clinched the game for the High Tides to end the game with a 2-1 loss for the Flames. The girls will have a chance to even the score later in the season when they play the High Tides at home at the Drum Point Soccer Complex in Brick NJ.
The Flames Win Their First Game
September, 20th 2009
The Twin County Flames took on the first place Extreme at home in Brick, NJ. It was a close game from beginning to end but the Flames defeated the Extreme by 1 goal. The win puts the Flames in second place behind the Sparks.
The Fall Soccer Season Is Off To A Great Start
September, 13th 2009
The Twin County Flames girls soccer team of Brick, NJ played their first game of the season against the Crushers. The Crushers took the lead early on in the first half but Courtney tied the score for the Flames with a goal shortly after. The Flames prevented the Crushers from scoring again for a final score of 1-1.
